The name ZEHENYA means well born & the origin of the name is Russian. Zenhenya's parents would like to think they were well off and that they brought their daughter up well. Of course she thinks her own name is a mouth full but there isn't anything she can really do about that. Besides a little bit of her pride comes with her name too. You don't find many women in America with her name.

NASTIA , her middle name means resurrection. Resurrection means the state of something/someone being brought back to life. Her mother told her one night why this was made her middle name. That she was the one that would bring life back into their family. More or less she did do that , at least her mother would swear she did.

Her surname was BABURIN before she mated. Not much is known about her last name just that it has a strong werewolf background. DRAGOMIROV is the name is has known taken on being married and mated with Dimitri.

" Honestly , I think I am a lot to handle. I can be a handful at times but that doesn't make me a bad person. For the most part I think I'm a pretty sweet women , I'm not ever purposely mean. I just like things done a certain way. That certain way being my way most of the time. I like love my position within the pack , I am more then a pretty face you know Though I do use my pretty face to my advantage , most of the time. I always prove that I am capable of being the alpha female. One thing about me is - I'm closed off. I don't trust easily and I can come across as standoffish when it comes to sharing feelings. I feel like I have this chip on my shoulder and I just can't shake it. I'm glad I'm here in the U.S with my pack but I wish it had been on my own terms. My own way. To everyone else though I'm nice , sweet , and fair to most people. Of course that's the way I want them to see me. "

MOTHER
"I am so proud of my daughter. She has grown into a beautiful alpha female. I so all this potential in her early on in life She has never let me down. Of course sometimes she would be more happy , she can seems to have this wall built up around her now. Something that I myself can't even seem to comprehend of get out of her. She plays her part terrifically and she hasn't disappointed me. I really wish she would have some children , so I can have some grandchildren around. I also wish she would just allow herself to deserve all the happiness the world is bringing to her."

FATHER
"My daughter reminds me much of her mother. She is tough and hard at times p; but others she can be just as lovable. Zen can get exactly what she wants out of anyone if she puts her mind to it. I know she is upset with us , her mother and I because we arranged for her to be with Dimitri but it's what is best for the pack. His parents are very dear to me and we set this up a long time ago. I know she is wildly independent but this is good for her. Her mother and I were also a arranged marriage , I learned to love her. Just like Zen will learn to love Dimitri if she let's herself. Besides that they both put what is best for the pack first and I can see all the success coming their way. "

"Zen is a tough cookie , she is nice but she doesn't let people in easily. She let's people in as far as she wants. She let's people know as much as she wants the to know and she can put up this whole act like everything is great - when inside she might be just torn up. She is so sweet that it's hard to see her down or not in the best of moods , if you aren't close to her then it's nothing that you ever really see. When I first met her , I automatically admired her. Her personality is great and she's pretty , people are genuinely drawn to her and on top of that she is pretty wise. We aren't pups anymore but she speaks with passion that a lot of people admire. She is someone I am naturally comfortable around and now she is a little more open ; at least to me. "

Zen is pretty much a sweet women , she is very humble and she is fair with her ways. Your first impression of her would be that is a nice women , that she is pretty and that she is intelligent. All of these things could be used to describe her. Zehenya is naturally nice , its not a force habit or anything like that. She finds being mean just takes to much work and she really get different results from being a bitch. Her mother taught in her early years that she had this gift or a curse. That she was a approachable person , easy to talk to and honest. But Zen has always have this ability to know exactly what to say to really get to a person. She also said that she had the ability to settle things or start things up , but for she speaks she always backs up.

If you know Zehenya then you know that her personality isn't all black and white. Her personality is like having a bit of a acquired taste not everyone is able to swallow it. She knows this and she doesn't have any desire to change , to be honest she loves her personality and she thinks its the best thing about her. Another thing about her you can say that she is a little bit bossy. he likes to be in control of things , she likes things to be done the right way ... she likes for things to be done her way. Sure people are entitled to their own opinions and suggestions. She rarely listens to those unless it's Dimitri's. Her husband is the only person that she really respects enough to keep her mouth closed if she thinks that he is doing what is best. Though she does throw her opinion in here an there , she knows he does what is best for all of the pack. Now she isn't like that about everything but some things she is gets very personal about and she wants it done right ! She likes to order people around making them do exactly what she asked them to do , she likes being the boss and she likes bossing people around. Is there something wrong with that ? If there is she doesn't particularly care. She is stubborn and she knows it .. well everyone knows it. Everyone can tell she isn't going to change her attitude or position on something if she feels strongly enough about it. In spite of good arguments or good reasoning , she tends to stick with her guns. She might be wrong but she'll never let on to that. She'll argue until you A) believe her or B) completely give up and just let her have it. Either way she is satisfied. She can be manipulative and coax anyone into doing almost anything. It's all about how she approaches it.

Ever since a young age Zen has been a bit rebellious. She hates authority and she doesn't follow it really. ( Besides Dimitri because she honors his authority. ) Zen is ambitious , aspiring and motivated. Being stubborn does come in handy at times because she is always motivated to do her best in anything she places her fingers on. She is a very ambitious , she has always showed a strong determination to succeed. At one time it was being a good daughter ( though she resents her parents for arranging for her to be with Dimitri and feels like her will to please them will be her down fall , next is being a good alpha , then trying to comprehend her feelings for Dimitri. She's trying , isn't that all that counts. Though she comes off as a hard ass to her pack when you truly get to know her and she starts trusting you , then you know she is actually a pretty sweet woman with a great heart as cliche as that sounds it is true. She is hard working , giving everything 101% and she is also very humble.

-- A sixteen year old Zen sat on the couch with her head hanging down , unable to look at her upset parents. She had disobeyed her father , she had gone out when he told her not to. She didn't listen. She just wanted to hang out with the other kids , be normal for a bit but her plans had gone bad fast when her parents had found out she was not in her room. When she walked into the house she could tell how mad her father was. He didn't like her hanging with the other "kids" , she was not like one of the other "kids an she needed to understand that. " I hate being a werewolf. I hate having werewolf parents and I hate being here ! " , Zen rushed off to her room to slam her door and cry. Zen's mother came into the room to console her daughter , telling her that she was destined for success and that they were hard on her to protect her. Zen's mother told her about when she was growing up and that she felt the same sometimes. Being a werewolf was in their blood , it was a blessing and Zehenya should treat it as such. Zen always hated disappointing her mother , it was hard to see her down. So she just nodded an agreed.

-- Her first real shift had to be one of that most exciting , liberating things of her life. The day she could actually shift , her heart had been pounding she had been excited all that day. Once night fell and the moon was high , she shifted. Of course she ran with a elder but it was mostly a group of her friends that were also shifting for the first time. Her werewolf form was slightly bigger the most females , she was slim though and fast. Big brown eyes and red heavy coat , she was one to use all four legs. She accepted , she had been ready for this and after the shift they celebrated.

-- First love is always the hardest at least that's what they say. Zen was young , just twenty and she was wild. In her mind she had found her match. A young werewolf that was her age in their pack. His family an she had fell in love with his charm easily. He had his eyes on Zen when he first saw her. Zen felt like he was the first real person she had a good connection with. After months of hanging out , she felt like she had found her match. He was a big part of her life in a short time and she spent most of her days with him. But she still kept him at a distance. She wanted him to be approved her parents. Her parents just knew her friendship with him but not her feelings she was developing. One day coming home her mother saw the look on her face and decided to have a talk with her. Telling her that this boy wasn't go enough for their daughter , that their were other plans for her in the future an she couldn't possibly be serious about him. Zen was furious , of all people she expected her mother to understand but she didn't. "That's because you were forced to love dad and forced into a relationship with father ? " , Zen spoke out of turn and in turn her mother slapped her. Zen knew that had been the first time her heart really ached , as she held her face and her mother apologized. The damage was already done now. Her mother went to go talk to her father about the whole thing , he told her mother that it was just a phase. She would get over it. A few years passed and her parents sat her down to tell her that she was to be Dimitri's mate. She knew of him , they weren't friends or anything she just knew of him. His family was close with her's. His mother had been some what of another shoulder she could lean on and it was then that everything seemed to be spinning out of control. Zen told them that she wouldn't do it and she planned on running with her love , but when she got to his place. He was gone already. Nothing but a not of sorry. It was then she felt her second heartache. She collapsed and then she just accepted everything. Everything was numb and instead of questioning her parents , she just went along with it. She still went out with her friends , she was still nice but it was like something was taken away from her. Only the people closest to her could tell.

-- The call was something she had expected but not expected at the same time. The call for her to go to America. Her "mate" was ready for her and she was being sent off like some package. She hated this. She hated how she was being treated and she hated that she had no say in what was going on. She barely knew what he looked like. Her things were packed , she said goodbye to her parents and she was on her way to the states. She had never felt more alone then she did on the plane ride. Her accent had been so thick back then that it was hard for anyone to really understand her , even when she was speaking english. The plane ride was long but she made it. Getting off the plane she expected some welcome party or something. That was the moment she heard Dimitri's voice for the first time , she turned on her heel so fast that she almost fell over and he laughed at her. She was furious and she made it clear that she didn't like this ; but at the same time she did respect him. From the stories she had been told , from the way people spoke of him ... he was a honorable man. He was handsome , she noticed that from the moment she had laid eyes on him but she still had that numb feeling in her chest. He took her back to "their" home and things were a bit awkward at first.

-- Years gone by and things are still rough. Zen is still standoffish with Dimitri. She knows she has some type of feelings for him and she know they could grow if she let them , but something just won't let her. It's hard considering she knows his love for her. In the pack of her mind she knows she can be happy and in love with him , if she just let herself. They have this mutual respect relationship and though she can push his buttons , she does look at him as her best friend. So maybe she isn't in love with him ( but she loves his companionship ) .

Zen dreams of their pack reaching their full potential , taking on more territory and taking on more usual pack members.

She also dreams of someday allowing herself to actually love Dimitri like he deserves.

Even though Dimitri has made it clear he doesn't she really wants kids.

Though she would never admit it , she is afraid to lose Dimitri. In any way. Whether it be by death or to another woman.
